Community Access Network
In 2015, Town Council established Community Access Network (CAN) meetings as an opportunity for residents to meet face-to-face with local leaders to discuss issues, raise concerns and learn more
about Council’s plans and priorities.
These informal meetings are generally held by ward so residents can talk about issues affecting their own neighbourhood as well as the
entire Town. Meetings are generally attended by the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Ward Councillors and may also be attended by other community partners such as South Simcoe Police and school boards.
